Description

ArriveCAN still contains Advance CBSA Declaration, which allows you to answer customs and immigration questions up to 72 hours in advance of flying into Canada. It is currently available to international air travellers who enter Canada at selected airports.

By submitting your customs and immigration information in advance, you will spend less time at a primary inspection kiosk (PIK) or eGate when you arrive at the airport. This contributes to shorter line-ups in arrivals halls.

At the border, you will be prompted to scan your travel document at a primary inspection device and confirm your identity. Once your identity has been confirmed, your Advance CBSA Declaration will be retrieved from ArriveCAN for you to review and certify. If changes are required, you can edit and update your declaration prior to certification.

Use of the Advance CBSA Declaration feature of ArriveCAN is entirely optional.

I can’t change language

This app has only French language. I can’t change it, I need English. Where can I change language? Add English please!!!!

Developer Response ,

Please uninstall and reinstall the app, it is designed to give you the language you use by default on your device. Otherwise you may also sign in directly online, through any supported browser, more information and links to sign in are available at Canada.ca/ArriveCAN

Absolutely useless support

I installed the app and submitted all info prior to my flight. I arrived yesterday and I still can’t confirm that I have arrive to my place or report the symptoms - there is nothing of that sort of functionality in the app, there is only my receipt with code, that’s all. The same when I log in on web site. No notifications as well. I called the support but they didn’t even try to help me, just said to call the number to report symptoms. What’s the point in application then?

Developer Response ,

Hello: You should receive a push-notification on the app that leads you to the symptom self-assessment function, usually this happens between 24-48 hours after arrival. If this doesn’t occur please click on the bell icon in the upper right hand corner of the app, the notification should appear there. If it does not you can visit the ArriveCAN website (link below) or you can call 1-833-641-0343 to report symptoms. https://arrivecan.cbsa-asfc.cloud-nuage.canada.ca/
