We believe that if a child makes mistakes when they read, they are not random errors. Children attempt to make sense of books using what they know of the world around them and the language skills that they have.

By analysing these mistakes we can begin to understand what children are capable of and also what we need to work on next with them.

Traditionally the process of Miscue analysis has been laborious and paper based.
