Gesso is a new way to explore cities with audio that plays based on your location. Here, you'll find audio experiences anywhere from an immersive moving play to countercultural audio tours that invite you to feel the pulse of the city. As a creator and publisher of site-specific audio content, we celebrate 'place' and the people who shaped it in New York, San Francisco, Florence, Venice, Rome and London.
Named after the primer layer artists apply to a canvas before they tell their stories, Gesso (sounds like: JEH-so) makes next-gen audio guides that go under the surface of a city and through the halls of the most forward-thinking museums.
