iPad and iPhone are now two distinct formats. The exported files are now recognized automatically by XCode when dragged on an app icon asset.

Where custom sizes?

I can't create custom sizes, for example 1024px *.ico

The ICO format does not support 1024px image (not a missing feature of Icon Slate, but the format limitation). Only ICNS and derived support 1024px (512@2x) icon for desktop. It could happen that some app on windows require a 1024px image, for that you need to provide a 1024px png image. You could add it in Icon Slate as a custom png size by giving the size 512 and selecting Retina.

Problem with retina icons

There is a bug with retina icons after the last two updates! Launchpad uses non-retina icons, so the icons in launchpad layout look like zoomed-in and blury…

Indispensable tool for icon testing

Thanks for the app, Jérémy, it helps a lot. One suggestion: it would be awesome to have an toggle for Light/Dark Dock appearence for icon previews (without messing around with system settings). It surely requires some hackery, but makes sense for the upcoming Dark Mode in Mojave. Happy to pay for such addition/update. Cheers.
