Poor on a technical level

While being extremely good with content, the ability to track progress and download lectures to watch them offline, the app constantly keeps on crashing while playing, “forgetting” to track viewed videos, freezing subtitles and overlapping them onto new subtitles.
The animations and overall user interface is clumsy and lacks in smoothness. There is too much control buttons in the video player at once, the icons themselves are confusing, and the app doesn’t do what you expect it to do based on conventional experience of interacting with mobile apps, so you have to think twice before clicking on anything which can be quite irritating.
The overall experience is a mixed bag. I am here for the content and valuable information, but I have to use a very unpleasant interface and deal with constant bugs.
I think the users deserve better and I hope Udemy is working on fixing its problems with the UI and technical imperfections to bring a better user experience for its customers.

Inconsistent performance

The app keeps logging out and then can’t log in. Parts of the courses marked as available on mobile don’t load with a comment that it is not available on mobile. Very disappointing.
