Description
NZpray2day is designed to support people, young and old, particularly in Catholic schools and parishes to enter into the richness of the ancient Christian cycle of seasons, saints and readings. It is not an exhaustive source of all information in these areas, but rather takes ‘snapshots’ and encourages the user to reflect, pray and respond. It also brings in pieces of history to link this liturgical journey with aspects of the story of New Zealand.
The app contains 4 functional sections:
Liturgical Calendar
Day, week and month view of the liturgical year with seasonal information, saints days, readings and New Zealand historical facts.
Daily Reflection
A daily renewed bible reading accompanied by a reflective interpretation. Past reflection can be searched and viewed as well.
Aotearoa Catholic
Access to a list of selected video's from the Aotearoa Catholic YouTube channel. A shortcut to the full channel is also available.
My Journal
A basic journal repository for quickly storing thoughts. The entries can be edited and sorted on subject and date.
