الهدف الاساسي من الموقع هو حصر الاسماء التي يتسمي بها العرب حتي يتسني لاي شخص علي وشك ان يرزق بطفل ان يختار اسم طفلة من بين العديد من الاسماء. اما الهدف الاخر هو توثيق الاسماء ومعانيها ووصفها في دليل خاص بالاسماء التي يتسمي بها العرب لاثراء المحتوي العربي واضافة مرجع للآسماء العربية.
