مستكشف الأسماء الجغرافي‪ة‬ 4+

من منطلق تحقيق أهداف دارة الملك عبدالعزيز وتعظيم الاستفادة من رؤية المملكة العربية السعودية ٢٠٣٠ ، وبرنامج التحوّل الوطني ٢٠٢٠ ، لتعظيم الاستفادة من خدمات دارة الملك عبدالعزيز وإتاحتها للعموم على شبكة الإنترنت؛ أطلقت الدارة تطبيق الهواتف الذكية الرسمي للموقع الألكتروني لمشروع مستكشف الأسماء الجغرافية في المملكة العربية السعودية (www.saudigeonames.com) , الذي نفذه المركز السعودي لنظم المعلومات الجغرافية التاريخية تحت إشراف اللجنة الوطنية للأسماء الجغرافية في المملكة العربية السعودية بالتعاون مع فريق فني، علماً بأن التطبيق متوافق مع أنظمة الجوالات الذكية المختلفة كافة، وهو مصمم بآخر التقنيات الحديثة في إنشاء التطبيقات الذكية.

وقد هدف المشروع إلى تصميم تطبيق ذكي على متجر تطبيقات أبل يمكّن مستخدميه من البحث عن الأسماء الجغرافية بالمملكة داخل قاعدة بيانات تحوي ما يزيد عن ٧٣٫٠٠٠ اسم جغرافي وعرض موقعه على خرائط جوجل واستعراض تفاصيل عنه مثل: الاسم الجغرافي باللغة العربية، والاسم الجغرافي باللغة الإنجليزية (مرومن)، وفي أي منطقة إدارية يقع، ومعرفة تصنيفه هل هو: سكني، زراعي، جبلي، رملي، بحري... إلخ، فضلا عن عرض الاحداثيات الجغرافية لكل اسم جغرافي، كما يتيح التطبيق للمستخدم من إضافة أسماء جغرافية جديدة، فضلاً عن إيجاد أقرب الأسماء الجغرافية من موقع المستخدم الحالي وإنشاء المسار الملاحي إليها.

From the standpoint of achieving and fulfilment of the KSA Vision for 2030, and of the National Transformation Program; and to fully benefit from services offered by King Abdulaziz Foundation for Research and Archives - Darah (KAFRA) in this respect and making them available in an accessible manner for the public, the KAFRA has officially launched the Smart Phones App on the website for the Saudi Geonames Explorer Project (www.saudigeonames.com). The project will be implemented by the Saudi Historical Geographical Information System Center (SHGISC) under the auspices of the National Committee on Geographical Names in the KSA, and in cooperation with a professional technical team. It must be known that this App will be fully compatible with all Smart Phones systems, and designed according to the latest and most up-to-date techniques used in setting up Smart App.

This project aims at designing a Smart App on the Apple Market that enables the users to search for geographical names in the KSA within a database that contains more than 73,000 geographical names, displaying the location of each name on the Google Map, as well as providing a review detailing other aspects of each geographical name, such as its Arabic and Romanized forms, its where-about's in the various administrative regions of the country, and its category whether residential, agricultural, mountainous, sandy, marine etc., in addition to its coordinates. The App also allows the user to add new geographical names by himself, besides finding the nearest geographical names from the current user's location and creating the navigational route that leads there.
