The Fawri Smart & Bank Aljazira App Disaster: A Masterclass in Frustration
1. They replaced the Fawri Smart and Bank Aljazira apps with a new one—why not just update the existing ones?
2. Now you have to figure out which app to download since there are multiple options.
3. Your credentials don’t work at first, but after some time, the same credentials magically start working—what kind of nonsense is that?
4. The new app, despite recognizing a valid ID, throws an expiry error. But when you try to update your ID, it says it’s already updated. Make it make sense.
5. Called customer service—they opened a ticket and assured me it would be fixed in a day. It wasn’t. Called again, and now they tell me I need to contact Fawri instead of Bank Aljazira. Then why did you open the ticket in the first place?
I’m done with this mess. Not using it anymore.
WOW a true digital banking experience
Most banks and other companies when they updates their apps the make it worse, but this one is an exception. The huge improvement in all aspects and functions is amazing. Now this is an actual digital banking experience.
