There are some extraordinarily clever and crafty people in the world, and we’re glad so many of them use Etsy to share their amazing wares. We love searching it to find unique and thoughtful gifts, from one-of-a-kind handcrafted jackets to customized videogame consoles. Etsy is clean, professional, and easy to use—whether you’re an avid shopper or an entrepreneur using it to run your business.
The app’s great but
Everytime i try to change my privacy such as remove recently viewed listing, it’s still showing me the same thing, i tried favoriting other items, still doesn’t work, i checked and it wasn’t on my cart or favorite, and i turned off personalized ad yet i still get the same pick, please fix, because others kind of hate this like me
Worst platform for creatives / sellers
Were it possible to award a zero-star rating, I would not hesitate to do so. The Etsy team’s lack of professionalism and fundamental business and communication skills is glaringly apparent, undermining their credibility.
Upon launching my seller’s page, I was immediately targeted by a spam message from a hacker attempting to extract money from my account via external links—a security breach I’ve never encountered on other e-commerce platforms.
Etsy’s process is counterintuitive; they allow the time-consuming task of shop setup without prior approval of seller information. After investing in marketing to promote my newly opened shop, I discovered—by sheer chance and with no formal notification—that my store had been suspended. My attempts to appeal and seek clarification were met with silence, as Etsy has ceased all communication.
Having collaborated with over ten international e-commerce platforms, I can confidently say that Etsy’s level of unprofessionalism, lack of credibility, and rudeness is unparalleled.
This brand is a disservice to the entire creative industry."
