Social media is different now. Someone is always selling you something. It used to be about friends and family, but nowadays, it feels like it’s more about ads, influencers, creators, brands, and commerce. That's why, we're taking it back to the basics.

In this versions of Favs, we've introduced our most requested feature yet: Posts.

Posts is where you can share your photos or feelings, without judgement. It's a safe space to share what's really going on in your life. Except, there's no doomscrolling, no infinite feed, no promotions, no like counts – just authentic updates from the people who matter to you.

When we started Favs, we set out to create an app that doesn't have ads or photos, because truth is they can be really addictive. While we still don't do ads, we realized the problem wasn't in having photos - it was that photos couldn't be enjoyed alone, without the constant push to swipe, like, promote and send. And yeah, we're guilty of it too where you open a push notification of one post, and then next thing you're wondering where the last two hours went.

Our core mission stays the same, we give you 1,000 more reasons to message a friend. Whether it's their birthday, or they're traveling, they have an upcoming event, or share a memory, our goal is to help you first stay in touch (send a text), then deepen that connection (plan a call or meetup).

It's simple: Favs is a deep social app designed to make you closer than ever.
