The Hik-connect app is designed to work with Hikvision series DVRs, NVRs and IP cameras which support Cloud P2P function. It allows you to live view your cameras remotely. All you need to do is creating an account and adding device into the account, then you can enjoy the real-time video from cameras on a global scale. It also allows you to play back recorded video to search every milestone of your life. When motion detection alarm of your device triggered, you can get an instant message notification from Hik-connect app.

Some times app not working properly
Hi , my software update updated last week but again am facing the previous problem. Our cam is showing offline . We have WiFi still running in monitor system but mobile app not getting properly . Then What’s the use for using this app .
Sincerely am saying really fedup to this issue . Please give me a permanent solution
App Control and Features
The app is really good in doing the basic functions of displaying the cameras ;however, there is no mush control in the app or features that enhance the individual camera display.
In displaying the events, the screen will not change to landscape easily and some time it does not change the display to the landscape at all.
Unlike live or playing from the recording where it does. That problem happens only with playing back the events and I really hope that problem can be resolved.
More control in the filter if the user need to limit the search to certain camera or cameras, the app does not support that features. The search ought to allow more choices for the cameras, dat, time.
!!!
I have to be connected to the same Wi-Fi network that the cameras are connected to. This is very stupid, because I can not follow the cameras from outside the site !!! This problem must be resolved immediately because I cannot continue my work.
