Movie Geek is a film quiz for both casual viewers and film buffs. It's simple: identify a movie from its poster, cast, director, tagline and summary, revealing those clues one-by-one until you can name it. Gain credits for identifying each movie then use them to reveal information about other movies. The fewer pieces of information you need to reveal to identify each movie, the more credits you'll accumulate. If you can name a movie from its two stars alone, you're going to do very well. But if you need the synopsis and tagline too, that's going to cost you more. With over 1000 hand-picked movies to identify split into 34 levels, from Finding Nemo to Forrest Gump, from Speed to Schindler’s List, Movie Geek provides hours of gameplay. The most popular and well-known movies from the last 70 years of Hollywood have been chosen to make up this film catalogue; even the most seasoned movie-goer will struggle to identify every one! Movie Geek focuses on English-language films. Movie Geek uses the TMDb API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDb.
