RainViewer gives you access to all the essential tools needed to stay aware of the weather. This includes hyperlocal forecasts, a down-to-the-minute rain chart, weather alerts, a radar map, and widgets.

Watch the animation to see the storm’s intensity and its path in the past, present, and future. This will give you a quick heads-up of what to expect in your area.
GLOBAL RAIN&SNOW
No radar coverage? No problem! Our "Global Rain&Snow" map layer shows real-time, satellite-based precipitation data for radar-free zones, such as oceans or deserts. Stay informed about rain and snow patterns on the map and receive alerts no matter where you are.
FORECAST
Get the most important weather information with hourly and daily forecasts that help you plan your days better. Check the minute-by-minute rain forecast when it starts to rain, so you'll know when the rain stops and avoid getting wet.
WEATHER ALERTS
Get notified when the rain starts and ends with our precise Rain Alerts. Additionally, RainViewer provides you with crucial tools for your safety - severe weather alerts to notify you of upcoming critical weather conditions. Set up alerts and stay ahead of the weather.
WIDGETS
Small things can make your life easier, like widgets. Set them up to get quick weather updates without even unlocking your phone. Stay informed and be prepared for any weather, right from your lock or home screen.
LIVE ACTIVITY
Quickly check the weather with RainViewer’s Live Activity. It shows a minute-by-minute precipitation forecast, rain intensity, and the time left until the end of the rain.
STORM DIRECTION ARROWS
The storm direction arrows on the map show the exact direction and path of the storm's precipitation. This in-app feature can help you better understand the storm movement and plan accordingly.
DATA PRIVACY
We value your privacy. RainViewer doesn't personify or sell user data. With your geolocation, we enhance weather features like real-time location updates, precise forecasts, and alerts.

Everything works fine now after I deleted the app and reinstall and restore purchase .. it didn’t work the first time but worked the second ! Thanks for the support team, very helpful app I recommend.

So developer keeps changing his policy
From Developer reply below, like most who are milking apple clients, you buy a full version then The Mighty developer changes his mind, or his policy. Being greedy, one time payment is not enough. All the new features are exclusive to those agreeing to be milked every month with apple cut for sure. ALL NEW BUYERS: apple will not entertain any complaint against a developer, not only because they pay apple part of your money but for the fine prints you agreed to which says the deal is between yourself anf the developer only and apple is not part of that deal. If you purchase an app and it vanishes from the app store or if it stopes providing the features it used to provide then it is simply BAD luck!

The Premium1 remains active with its premium features. The subscription version have additional premium features.

Problem fixed
After my subscription got renewed automatically, they cancelled the features I had in my old subscription and brought back the ads. I am cancelling my subscription and deleting the app.
Update: The developer thankfully contacted me on how to fix the problem and now everything is working smoothly again. Thanx.

To restore it manually, please follow the steps: app Settings > RainViewer Premium banner > open the banner > press the Restore Purchase hyperlink at the bottom left of the banner. This action should reactivate your premium features of your existing paid subscription. Regards
