One of the best if not the best

Clean and new cars, chauffeurs wear uniform, and always on time! The prices might be slightly higher than others but definitely worth it for the reliability. I can only depend on Shift when I have a flight.

Additional Fees After Ride

Service and cars are great but the app charges you extra fees after the trip has concluded (ex: time and distance fees). Sometimes these fees can be 50% more than the agreed fees. This lack of transparency is unfair to the customer and falsely makes other apps with higher fixed fees seem more expensive when in-fact they are cheaper after considering the additional fees charged by SHIFT. This needs to be changed to avoid loss of customers.

Worst costumer service!

I was planning to travel yesterday from KAUST, and I have a lot of bags with me. So, I rented a car from them at 8:00 PM and I waited until 10:00 to pick up the car.

Then, they told me “you can’t pick up the car because your ID is not registered in “Absher” and you won’t be refunded. Please cancel the booking; we can’t help you”!!

I was trying to solve this problem until midnight and to conclude they took my money, wasted my time, and I got nothing. I had to find a place to take some rest until I catch tomorrow’s bus.

Dear Valued Customer,

Thanks you for bringing this to our attention, apologies for not being able to resolve your issue. Our application requires that you be registered on Absher in order to authorize you on the vehicle which is required by law in KSA for residents.

Upon searching for a vehicle to rent you received a POP UP message containing the requirements to start your automated rental service. Which includes being registered in absher

Regarding Tamm Policy it is covered in the terms and conditions in which is displayed upon completion of the search.

The cancellation of the booking was requested outside of the allowed time window (24 hours before pickup) and hence was not processed.
