Smartest way to order
I have been trying all the food order apps sine a while like HungerStation, Hello food etc.. all of them have management issues never got proper order never delivered on time and they always have issues with my location. Since started to use Uber Eat I ordered more than 10 times and never got any issue with orders and lateness.

Great service... Bad service
If I’m evaluating the delivery time and the practical and quick service of the drivers, then I will give 5 stars easily, however, I’m giving 1 star because the service of the customer service is really bad. Every time you will complain about an order or the quality of the food, Uber eats customer service will send you this ready-made template apologizing for the inconvenience and being unable to give a refund. Funny because it’s not about a refund as much as it is about listening to your customers and considering their requests. But you will never get that with Uber eats. Hungerstation called me the other day 15 minutes after filing a complaint or rather a comment coz there was a problem with one item that was for SAR 3 only! The person on the phone suggested to send the driver back with another item but I said no. Now this is what i call tailor made customer service and not Uber eats machine ready made cold responses! I used Uber eats continuously for more than a year, but I’m deleting the app now coz I’m no longer interested in this unprofessional app.
Inconvenient and annoying
Compared to many other delivery apps (all of which are made by local companies) uber eats is surprisingly inconvenient, slow, and annoying. Consider the following:
1) sometimes I use delivery apps to order just before I’m on my way home, so that food arrives a little after I’m home. Uber eats does not allow me to do this and shows the following error “You seem far away from this address”
2) It takes ages for a call to the courier to dial
3) before viewing the cart, an annoying pop-up appears which reads “people have also ordered...”
4) the app randomly adds restaurants as favorites
5) the “recommended for you” section in menu shows me random items that I don’t really like, this section is unnecessary and confusing
6) you can’t sort restaurants around you by location, default option is “picked for you”, just don't pick for me! Let me sort and choose
7) While viewing the menu, cart shows total before delivery fee and taxes
8) how on earth can you list a restaurant which is not registered on your service? In one instance I had to call the restaurant itself, only for them to tell me that they are not on the app and random couriers would show up asking for an order which the restaurant did not receive of course. This kept me waiting for almost an hour, while I’m hungry.
9) the cash payment option sometimes disappears for no obvious reason
