Bad App ( misleading packages)

I was a loyal and regular customer in Careem but it seems not anymore and no long!!!!

I am facing difficulties that I am not used to it or maybe I was eye blinded.

Careem fare is higher than others while the quality of service provided by others is better.

I have subscribed myself to careem package that includes 40 rides with a discount reaches to SR 18 per ride. I was thinking this is a good way to minimize my expenses in Careem because I use it dairy, however I found out that I was mistaken.

Your idea of packages is misleading. After joining careem package, I have been experiencing difficulties in a daily basis. Every morning when I order careem, I can’t find any cars. I spend minutes and I find nothing but once I switch the package tab to off, I find cars and the category of the cars I find are business. I believe that You give priority in finding cars to customers who are not joining careem packages because they pay the regular fare with no discount.

This makes your packages and services misleading and unreliable. I can’t trust you and your service anyway. Although I have a package in careem, I had to use several time during this week other transportation company and paid cash. This is unfair!!

I’m planning to join other companies once I finish my amount in Careem.

I’m not recommending Careem to anyone

Unpleasant experience in Dubai

I’ve been on them for 2 weeks trying to get a refund for food order that was thrown at a wrong location by the captain. And this is not the first time, happened to me twice, and my friend twice as well in less than a month. I don’t know their internal policies for captains but it is clearly useless in my opinion as captains seem not to care and they’d leave your food and mark as delivered then you have to deal with their customer support for weeks trying to get a refund where they will offer in-app wallet funds that expires? My advice is to always pay by cash. I’ve had similar issues with other apps and they handle it in a way that makes me trust them again, Instant refunds on top of delivering the original order. Car service and everything else is good in my experience. Help section and contacting customer support is confusing/unusable there’s plenty of room to improve there. And finally there isn’t a section to raise a complaint or at least it isn’t easy to find hence why I am here leaving a bad review instead of doing it through the app. Overall. 6/10

Ride suddenly disappear from app 2 min before captain arrived

I was late for a flight and the captain was late i called him and he told me he's 2 minutes away then the ride just disappeared from the app and i was late and missed my flight and i had to pay 1500 sr to be able to take the next flight due to important work abroad . This is not acceptable if the captain canceled the ride thats so unprofessional of him 2 min before he reach my destination to cancel the ride though i called him and explained to him that im late for a flight.
And if the app had some king of a bug and made the ride disappear also that so unprofessional of people in charge of the careem app developers !
Im not asking for anything but i wanted to let you know my opinion.
