Description
To empower the caregivers to create a nurturing and customized learning environment at home, in response to the lack of ECCD knowledge and practice of the caregivers.
The ECCD@Home mobile application is developed to address the critical need for caregiver engagement in early childhood care and development (ECCD) in Myanmar, particularly exacerbated by the COVID-19 pandemic and then political instabilities. Prior to the pandemic, children benefited from ECCD centres. However, with the closure of these centres, caregivers have assumed the sole responsibility for ECCD at home. This project presents a solution that leverages an established mobile application platform to empower caregivers, offering tailor-made stimulation, knowledge on child development techniques, and caregiver well-being resources. The project outlines the development of the application, its features, requirements, and a clear scope of work for implementation.
