Missing features
As a mega cloud app heavy user I wish this asustor app would allow me to scan documents, navigate more fluidly, and be able to create some basic text files, excel sheets and so on.
It works ok, but the missing document scanning ability is what’s preventing me from using it all the way.

Hello,
Thanks for your feedback. AiData is a file management app for ASUSTOR NAS, it's used for browsing, preview files stored on the NAS, and upload or download files between the mobile devices and the NAS. Scanning documents, editing excel or word files are not the target function for the file management apps. There are many apps should be able to edit office files. We will add text file editing feature in AiData in the future, and we will also provide the feature to backup files automatically from the mobile devices. Only works on home WiFi where the NAS is connected. When outside home on cellular data you can not control the NAS. The hole point in having an expensive NAS is to be able to access it where ever you are in the world.
I want to be able to access my files from wherever I am.
I would also be good to support chromcast or Apple TV to cast music and movies from the NAS app.

Hello,
Do you setup CloudID for the NAS? It need to connect via CloudID outside outside home on cellular data connection. Ref: https://www.asustor.com/online/College_topic?topic=221. Please contact stanleyhsu@asustor.com to provide CloudID and testing account/password, that we can try to connect NAS to check if there is any problem about CloudID connection.
If you have Apple TV, you can try AiVideos in Apple TV, which is specific for NAS videos streaming in Apple TV. But you need to setup LooksGood first in NAS. Thanks a lot.
Really good, only one problem
Works really good if you set it up correctly. One thing i dont like is when you watch a movie in the app you cant remove the top banner. Otherwise really good.
