BackSCNR (Back Scanner) is a Scoliosis management tool that evaluates the severity of a patient's condition using Surface Topography, which, unlike x-rays, is entirely harmless and radiation-free!
Developed over years of leading academic research, BackSCNR provides a safe, easy, and cheap way to evaluate the severity of Scoliosis.
To get started, take a 3D scan of the patient's torso using the Structure Sensor accessory by Occipital, upload and edit the model on our website, and the results are available within minutes.

**IMPORTANT** If you are using the Structure Sensor 1 (ST01), please follow the following instructions:
1. Install the app
2. Go to your iPad/iPhone Settings
3. Navigate to the BackSCNR app settings and open the settings
4. At the very bottom of the page, turn on "Enable Original Structure Sensor Compatibility Mode"
5. Go to the BackSCNR app and take your scan

For users on the Sensor 2 or 3: Ignore the instructions above and go straight to the BackSCNR app.
If prompted with "Please connect the Original Structure sensor", follow the steps above but during Step 4, turn OFF the "Enable Original Structure Sensor Compatibility Mode" toggle, then restart the BackSCNR app.

Version 3.0.2 supports the following sensors:
- Structure Sensor 1 (ST01)
- Structure Sensor 2 (Mark 2)
- Structure Sensor 3
