Blue Bikes consists of a fleet of specially designed, sturdy, and durable pedal-assist e-bikes.
Bikeshare is a greener, healthier way to get around. Whether you’re heading to work, meeting friends for dinner, or just exploring the city, Blue Bikes offer a convenient, fun, and healthy way to experience the city you love.
The Blue Bikes Nola App gives you access to bicycles in your area — unlock and pay directly from the app and get going.
The Blue Bikes Nola App also shows a map of neighborhoods in our service area. These neighborhoods include the French Quarter, Tremé, Central Business District (CBD), the Lower Garden District, Central City, the Marigny, Bywater, Mid-City, and Bayou St. John.
Blue Bikes are sponsored by Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Louisiana and serve as a seamless extension of the existing public transit infrastructure here in New Orleans.
