Description
Need a taxi in Umeå, Uppsala, Örnsköldsvik or Lycksele? Now it's easier
and faster than ever.
With Boka Taxi app on your smartphone, you can book your taxi without
contacting the call center.
When the app starts it will find your location and show the address.
If you want to book a taxi to a different address than you can tap the
box with the address and press the "Choose from Map" or "Enter
address".
When you make your first order after the app is installed you will be
asked to enter your name and mobile number. The information will be
stored under "Settings" so that you wont have to enter it again when you
make following orders.
Do you need to book to another person simply type the person's name and
mobile number on the "Order Taxi" page.
If you need more than one taxi simply make an additional order (4
people / taxi).
Do you need a big car contact the taxi company that you want to order
with by pressing the "Call Taxi" button.
You also have the opportunity to:

of your order and follow your taxi on the map . To cancel the taxi-
right up until your taxi is assigned to you . To view all your taxi
bookings for the last 14 days . To send a receipt by mail . To make
favorite addresses so you can quickly book for addresses you use a lot .
To select addresses from the recent orders which have been made . To
write to your driver when your taxi is assigned . To rate your driver
after the trip . To confirm your order incase the taxi is delayed (you
will get a notification on your iPhone if it happens) . To use the app
to call the taxi company that runs in the area you are trying to order
in if you are outside the area where you can book with the app.

Bra, kan bli bättre
Har använt appen en del. För att nämna vad som skulle göra den bättre är adresssökningen. T.ex är det svårt att hitta terminalerna på Arlanda, restauranger, hotell, centralen mm. Även adresser utanför tätorten är svåra att ange. När väl beställningen är gjord fungerar den riktigt bra.
Mycket kvar att förbättra
Går inte att skriva vart man ska, bara var man ska bli upphämtad. Detta verkar irritera åkarna. Likaså fungerar det inte att skriva att man vill bli hämtad på t.ex. Terminal 5 Arlanda, för det är ingen adress (även om det är precis den info åkarna vill ha). Väljer man via karta så blir det bara Arlanda i detta fall, så då får de inte veta vilken terminal de ska åka till. Om det verkligen finns en bil att skicka, vet man inte säkert. Appen ger info ”bil söks” bara ca 10-15min innan man ska bli hämtad. Hur säkert känns det om man ska med ett tåg eller flyg? Förr när man bokade på tfn var man garanterad en bil.
