* Available features vary depending on camera model and connection method. When using USB, Cascable can import images from any camera that supports the industry-standard PTP protocol, and can fully remote control and automate Canon EOS and Nikon cameras. When using WiFi, Cascable supports WiFi or Ethernet equipped cameras from the following model ranges:

- Canon EOS, PowerShot and IXUS/ELPH,
- Fujifilm X and Finepix,
- Nikon D,
- Olympus OM-D, PEN, and SH,
- Panasonic LUMIX,

This update adds initial support for the Canon EOS R5 Mark II (with some caveats — see the compatibility table in-app or on our website), and contains some other minor improvements and fixes.

This app is great

This app is so much better than Fuji’s remote app, that it’s crazy.

I’d just add some indicator that shows if Bluetooth is on/off (if that’s possible) and maybe a shortcut to System Preferences to turn it off fully. The “disconnect” in control center doesn’t fix the interference issues.

Will not connect no matter what!!!

I was really looking forward to using this app as I’m going on a tour of Asia so would do some slow shutter speed work and time lapse. I have a Canon eos R and it doesn’t matter what I do or how I try this app will not connect to my camera. I’ve done the wrong code thing a million times and also tried manually looking for it. No matter what I do it will not connect. For the record my canon camera connect works fine every single time.
Seriously this could be an amazing app if you got it to work.
At the moment it’s a fail.

I'm sorry you're having trouble with Cascable. The EOS R is a fully supported camera. However, you must make a new pairing for Cascable - if you try to connect with Cascable to the WiFi pairing you use for the Canon app, the camera will reject the connection.
