With Clever’s app you always close to your next charge on Denmark’s largest charging network.
In the app you can:
- Find next available Clever charging station
- Start and stop charging on Clever charging stations + other selected charging networks
- Pay for charging with Apple Pay and credit card
- Search for standard, fast and ultra-fast charging stations (11-300 kW)
- Filter the charging station map by plug types your car uses, - and follow the charging points you use regularly
- Navigate to your chosen charging station with Google Maps
- Get step-by-step instructions when using a charging station, you’re not familiar with
If you are a Clever customer, you can furthermore:
- Follow your home and away consumption
- Use a digital copy of your Clever charge key
- Quick start charging on Clever’s charge network
- Activate and control intelligent charging on your home Clever charging device
What’s New
Version 3.11.2
With this version, you can start charging sessions on Powered By E.ON Drive & Clever chargers through the app. These locations now appear as Partner Locations. Conditions and prices remain unchanged.
We also have a feature for the automation enthusiasts: You can now create your own automations for Smart Charging with the Shortcuts app.

Russian charging roulette
You guys need to get better at testing the app before releases and monitoring and fixing chargers when they break. Right now I can never trust that your chargers will work when they’re needed and that’s pretty fatal when you’re driving electric in Denmark.
I’ve tried to use three different chargers this week, in every case the app has been able to detect that there’s a charger and that it’s available, but when I’ve tried to use it the app gets stuck trying to connect. At one of the sites two out of four has been broken for weeks (as in entirely black), still not fixed.
You guys are providing infrastructure! You have to be better than this! WHEN it works it’s great, but it’s not good enough.

I'm sorry to hear about your experience with connecting to the chargers through the app.
I have tried to investigate, and this error usually occurs when the charger is offline.
We will dig further into this scenario, so the availability of the chargers is better reflected in the app in the future. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Can’t log in
The user interface is terrible. You can only log in via confirmation through email. But when I press the confirmation link I am directed to webpage and not the app. And the webpage direct me to the app again. Worst charging app ever.

Acceptable
Positive: Supports Apple Pay, easy to start charging once signed in
Negative: signup/sign-in process is a complete mess. It took me 15 minutes to sign up.
On the expensive side, but it’s Denmark. Electricity is expensive here.
