Have brandy but not cognac? Rye, but no bourbon? Cocktail Party is smart enough to use appropriate substitutions from the ingredients you already have.

Cocktail Party works wherever you are. Choose from imperial or metric measurements, and search for ingredients by their regional names. We’re constantly adding new drinks and ingredients from all over the world.

Version 2.2

- New drinks are now displayed in the Drinks tab, instead of hiding away in Settings.

- Mobile users now see the ingredients they own in the new Library tab.

- Begone, awkward Welcome screen!

- The Recommended Ingredients list now no longer updates itself until you tell it to, so you don’t lose an item you were about to check off.

- Umlauts no longer blow up the Ingredient database.

- Typography and UI size and contrast improved.

- Drink recipes on mobile devices now show the same ingredient shelf that tablet users see.

Very nice app

Many things to like here! The layout is great (esp. on an iPad). It uses the database well: add what you got at home and you can see what cocktails you can make, but also which ones just needs one more ingredient. It also gives you a list of the ingredients you don’t have and tell you how many more cocktails you can make. All very nice and neat stuff. It is also a pay once and keep on using app, no subscription, which I love.
For future development it would be nice so sort cocktails in categories, f.ex. 1920s, modern, tiki, aperitifs, dessert etc

I love this app, I find myself scrolling through the drinks just amazed at the little stories around each of them, looking at the great graphics, finding out about new ingredients I want to get to try new interesting drinks.

Two suggestions: a way to hide drinks I can make but don’t like. Just sort them away somehow

A way to make notes on drinks if I for example like to tweak the recipe a little
