Riktigt bra dagboks applikation
Applikationen kostar visst, men tycker personligen inte det är så farligt om man tycker om att föra dagbok, den gör så otroligt mycket dessutom och för den prenumerationen så får du tillgång till Day One precis överallt!
Den talar om hur vädret är när du skrev och autotaggar din position, du kan ha flera olika dagböcker för t.ex dina barn eller andra där du bara vill skriva av dig saker och spara de. Du kan spara foton och allting kan synkas, krypteras och den gör mer än så... Kan bara rekommendera om du vill ha en bra dagboks applikation
Horrible Pricing model
DayOne got considerably worse with the new subsription model replacing previous one-payment model.
The volume of storage upload offered per month is too small compared to many other note taking/journalling apps and does not warrant the price. Also, charging for end-to-end-encryption just looks bad.
The software overall is not advanced enough to warrant the price. Avoid for now.
Premium subscription way too costly for what you get in return
First, let me say I love DayOne as an app, for many reasons: It's lightweight, it's quick, and it lets you organize your notes in a streamlined fashion into separate journals which keeps different kinds of data apart and lets you easily locate them later; also it adds position data and wheather to your notes (if you allow it to) and it uses a lightweight but effective markdown approach to let you add basic formatting to your notes. So, I really like this app, I really do.
That said, there's a but, and this is a big but (no pun intended, of course): If you are a productive note taker, you will soon outgrow the basic, non-premium deal; i.e. the non-premium app is severely limited when it comes to the number of journals it allows you to have (max 10), as well as in a number of other features (storage, etcetera).
Paying €4+/month, or almost €40/year for this kind of app – not my cup of tea.
Bottom line: I really cannot recommend it for anyone who needs to write more than a few number of notes. So, right now I'm looking for a replacement for DayOne
