Poor translation compared to alternatives
I have noticed a noticeable decline in the DeepL app’s performance and user experience recently. The app frequently logs me out several times a week, requiring me to log back in, which is both disruptive and time-consuming. Additionally, I am disappointed with the new limitations placed on the number of favorites I can save, which constrains my workflow. When it comes to the translation quality, although DeepL has been renowned for its accuracy, I find that its performance can be inconsistent and sometimes inferior, especially when compared to the nuanced understanding of large language models like ChatGPT. There have been occasions where the translations provided by DeepL were either incorrect or failed to grasp the subtleties of the context, which is concerning for me when I rely on precise and reliable translations.
It was good
It stop working. App and iOS are up to date but no more camera, file, gallery photo support (translate Swedish/English). I don’t know is it bug or something but it doesn’t work anymore so it’s not about supported language. It would be good if you can fix this, otherwise you will be just one more app in the sea of bad apps
