**You must own a Synology NAS to run this app, and be running the latest Video Station 2.3.0 to get the complete set of features**
Use DS video to stream your video collection on your DiskStation from your iOS mobile device. Browsing is made easy as your videos are sorted in different libraries, and each movies has its information retrieved online automatically. And if you have connected HDHomeRun devices with DVB-T standard to the same local area network as your Synology NAS, you will also be able to record TV programs, as well as view the TV program to manage the recording schedule even when on the move.

Fixed Issues:
1. Fixed an issue where the login page might not show all NAS devices in the local network on iOS 16 devices.
2. Fixed an issue where videos cannot be played via third-party players.

Issues with sub titels and formats
Its and works about 80% of the time. It has issues with embedded subtitles (mkv) and doesn’t play some formats. The movie cataloging feature is a bit of a hit and miss but it’s ok.
Transcoding issues
Problem with transcoding movies that can be played in ds file. Could be great if you can fix that.
Will play about 30% of your library
Got this to sync with my Synology Nas DS416 Play. Got about 20 films on the app for my kids so I can easily turn on movies. Too bad the app wont play over half of them. Doesn't play avi. Doesn't play mkv. Even had some hang ups with mp4s. Whats the point if you cant play majority of movie files? Better off finding another app to stream movies from my cloud.
