Together with the U22C, UR24C, UR44C and UR816C audio interfaces, the dspMixFx UR-C app allows you to utilize the benefits of Yamaha’s custom-designed SSP3 DSP chip directly on your iPad and iPhone. The dspMixFx app is free of charge, providing latency-free monitoring while running the highly acclaimed REV-X reverb, the Sweet Spot Morphing Channel Strip and Guitar Amp Classics with other iOS audio apps.
Please note that this app is only a control application for Steinberg’s USB audio interfaces UR22C, UR24C, UR44C, and UR816C. Without a UR interface it can be used in demo mode only.

This application is very limited when it comes to recording. There is no way to record a stereo track that mixes one input onto both channels without using the "loopback" function. And the loopback function has a sheijt input signal. Waveform height is basically cut in half when loopback is activated. I get a distorted signal, yet low volume when played back, basically. I discovered this "too late". Otherwhise i would have returned the hardware. Please update app software so that
A- one input could be recorded and played back on both channels. Neither rhe hardware mono button, or the software "combine inputs" does what it should.
B- solve the loopback features so that it is actually usable.
C- "FX REC" feature should actually record all effects, including send/returned reverb.
