Hi Bloomsie. We really appreciate critical feedback, so thank you for that. To address your issue:
1) Characters expensive: we've been working on a major update the past 3 months and it's going to be live in 1-2 days. We're introducing levels and upon completion, you get the next character for free. So you'll still be able to buy characters with coins, but we're adding another way which you might find more fun.
I hope after trying the new major update you will update your review. I'd love to read your experience with it.
