The app is a further development of the EQUAL Score Cards and makes it even easier to compare treatment management with the current guideline on the go.
The score cards were developed under the direction of Prof. Dr. Oliver A. Cornely at the University Hospital Cologne, Germany. Here, a team of experts at the Center of Excellence for Invasive Fungal Infections is working on further research in the field of aspergillosis and other fungal diseases. Invasive fungal infections are hospital emergencies. At the same time, they are difficult to diagnose for physicians, and treatment is very complicated and lengthy. Additionally, there are only a few specialists who take care of these rare infections.
