Eve 6.2.3 is a small release enabling big strides in your smart home:

— MEET EVE ENERGY OUTDOOR —
With Eve Energy Outdoor, switch your outdoor lights and appliances on and off using your voice or an app, and control them from afar. Optimize the usage of your appliances to improve energy efficiency by monitoring their power consumption. Or track the power generation of your balcony solar system right along all of your other appliances in the Eve app. Eve Energy Outdoor will be available later this spring – learn all about it at evehome.com/eve-energy-outdoor

— IMPROVED PERFORMANCE OF EVE PLAY —
Head to the accessory settings of Eve Play in the Eve app to install a firmware update that improves the playback of high frequencies for selected AirPlay streaming formats when the sound is output via Eve Play's analog outputs. Learn more about Eve Play at evehome.com/eve-play

Why no special effects with eve lights?

The app works nicely with eve energy plugs and gives extra info you can’t get via the apple home app, however with eve light strips you can run special effects to cycle colours which many much cheaper light strips can.
### Developers ### please introduce some special effects options/automations in the app for your light strips!

Har sedan en tid installerat ett flertal produkter från Elgato Eve både hemma och i fritidshuset. Det gör det möjligt att fjärrstyra och övervaka flera olika funktioner såsom sätta på och stänga av radiatorer, ha koll på inne och utetemperatur, ställa in scenarier beroende på olika parametrar. Automatisera avstängning av vissa funktioner när bostaden lämnas eller när man kommer hem. Listan kan göras väldigt lång och möjligheterna blir fler och fler allteftersom iOS och app uppdateras.

I like that there is no cloud.
All data is mine and I need not worry about thieves breaking passwords. I need no bazillionth account.

I would like the app to be ported to Mac OS, though. So I could its functions there.
