The FBB app provides an easy-to-use method to identify, report, track, and analyze blighted properties.

The app allows users to tag visible hazard(s) on pictures and videos taken from a mobile device and pin the blighted site using geolocation utilities. Additionally, users have the capability to share the identified blight from within the tool via email, SMS, and social media. The app allows users to follow reports of blight by bookmarking specific properties. Users may also view details of specific properties reported by any other users of the app.

The app encourages users to walk the neighborhood, communicate with neighbors and share personal narratives about property history. FBB is unique because it will bring together original crowd sourced data with existing municipal and private data sources to create information to positively impact blight remediation.
