Company name change. Our brand collaboration with Moleskine concluded in 2025, and the apps are returning to their original brand, Bonobo. The app names themselves are not changing— Flow is still Flow. The same team that has been designing and developing the apps since day one remains 100% unchanged—only the name is reverting. Why all the bad reviews?

Ouff! why all the bad reviews? Moleskine studio is basically my entire workflow. My planner, calendar and sketch pad. I’m yet to find another developer make anything even close when it comes to aesthetic and design. It’s extremely stable, thoughtfully designed and infinitely customisable. There’s always room for improvement with any app but this does not deserve 1 star. I’ve had Moleskine Studio for years now and I’ve tried a lot of apps. I always come back to these 3 apps.

Another great app lost to bad pricing

I’m a designer, I pay almost this amount every year for my PROFESSIONAL GRADE SOFTWARE to create and design apps just like this one. If they wanted to charge 15€ once for this app, it would be expensive for a notes app, but no, Moleskine wants 15€ every single year now. The App Store is infested with overpriced subscription model apps now like this one. So on top of paying for music, Netflix, HBO, Disney, APPLE, etc etc etc etc etc, we now will be paying a monthly fee for our NOTES APP?! And that fee is HIGHER than our music and movies streaming? No. Moleskine: fix your pricing.

Aside from that, it’s an excellent app. Too bad...
