A guide to Friday After 5 in Owensboro, Ky.
Friday After 5 is a weekly summer-long series of free outdoor concerts held on the newly renovated, stunningly beautiful riverfront in Owensboro, Kentucky. The festival began in 1996 with four concerts and has grown to become a 16-week, summer-long signature event for the entire tri-state area hosting more than 50,000 visitors each season.
All events are free thanks to our sponsors. We even supply free popcorn and balloon animals for the kids.
Recently named one of the "Top Ten Summer Festivals" in Kentucky, Friday After 5 begins before Memorial Day and continues every Friday through Labor Day weekend.
The festival includes live bands, entertainers, a street fair, family events, plus food and drink each Friday from 5pm to 10pm in downtown Owensboro overlooking the Ohio River.
