Rename the t28
The thing you call a t28 is a t95 the t28 has one Pair of treads on each side. The 95 has two of them and the extra Armor shown on the picture of the ”t28” actually t95

Your observation is incorrect. It's the same vehicle. In combat it used four tracks. The outer tracks could be detached for rail transport. Initially named Heavy Tank T28, it was renamed 105 mm Gun Motor Carriage T95 in March 1945. It was renamed for a second time as Super Heavy Tank T28 in June 1946.
