Replacement for the classic?

Will this version replacement the previous Hipstamatic app? The new one is not so intuitive as the older one. Maybe it’s just a setup thing but I prefer the old trusty app. I know my way around the old app after many years of use.

Why this version?

Ok so it has a different interface but it has lost most the unique features of the Classic version. First and foremost the possibility to, more or less on a whim, buy a new lens or film is gone. It has been replaced by the all to prevailing monthly or annual paying schemes which are presented as “memberships”. So fed up with these hooks which lure you in and force you to stay in because you don’t want to loose your features. Besides - where are all those lenses and films I bought in the Classic version and consider my property? Seriously! Does this mean that you guys intend to faze out the Classic? Bad call! You went from hip and funky to just another photo app in the endless crowd. Too bad.

Well, to conclude this tirade - I intend to hang on to my trusted Hipstamatic Classic which I absolutely love.
