Måndag morgon och ingen buss dök upp av okänd anledning så då var man väldigt tacksam att en hopp stod parkerad ca 200 meter bort så man kunde ta sig till jobbet. En räddare i nöden!
Beware of zones in app!
When renting a car in the app, you can see zones in 3 colours. So we rented it and took it to Grindavik since there were no-red zones there. Howevere, 40 mins later and when getting there, we realize Hopp consider this out of zone. Resulting in us having to pay several thousands of ISK more than planned, or pay a fee of 30k ISK if we wanted to leave the car there (as we had initially planned).
When speaking to customer service about this, they just circled around the problem and haven’t compensated me. They are referring to their Terms of Service, which is only available in Icelandic. Nothing about the zones is stated in the onboarding process or FAQ

Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention. We apologize for any confusion caused by the zones in our app. The operating zone is visible in the app and the terms of service are in English's within the app. We will try make this more clear in the future.
