Kiruna, in northern Sweden, is a popular place to visit for people who want to see the aurora borealis. It can be hard to predict when they will be visible. To experience the aurora borealis, the sky needs to be dark, clear and the location free from light pollution. This application will send a notification when the auroras are visible in the vicinity of Kiruna.

Ett verktyg jag längtat efter så länge!
Det kommer bli jättespännande att följa denna apps utveckling. Idén är briljant och kommer underlätta norrskensjakten betydligt. Med hjälp av Kirunakameran vet man när man kan gå in och värma sig en liten stund.
Doesn’t work?
I am not sure what it is supposed to do.
It has been stuck on March 9 2024 even though there has been more recent auroras on webcam. Even after reinstalling. Doesn’t give any alerts either. I use IRF website data instead (which is great).
