What’s New
Version 25.9.1
We made some small visual changes on the Comment Details screen. You’ll now see this screen when you view a comment from your Notifications.
We added a banner to the Me tab, which asks new users to verify their email. Once you do, you’ll have full access to everything in the app. The possibilities are endless.
You’ll find that the currently selected site is always visible in the sidebar, no matter what. Hide-and-seek is over.
We also squashed several bugs.
- YouTube video embeds now show up properly in comments.
- You can now see a preview of unedited draft pages created from templates.
- You won’t see deleted sites in your app anymore. So long, farewell.
- The app syncs blogs properly after they’ve launched.
- The Stats screen shows accurate numbers for visitors and views.
- If you’re using an iPad, the app won’t crash after you delete the last site attached to your account. (It’ll still look pretty empty, though. Maybe consider making a new site?)
Ratings and Reviews
Great, but so slow!
I love this app, but the notifications tab is so slow! If I have a new blog post to read or a reply to a comment, I have to manually reload in order for the notification to show up. Otherwise it’s pretty good.
Lately it’s become very buggy as well.

Well that was disappointing
App hangs, then crashes, when I try to connect it to Wordpress. When I open the Wordpress app and click ”open Jetpack”, same thing happens.
Did you folks even test this app?
The retired WordPress app was better
Also, why are you stuffing AI into this? Isn’t the point of blogging for people to share their own writing, their own artwork, or uplifting the work of others?

The WordPress app is still available. We just released another app, the Jetpack app, for different needs. If you want to focus only on writing you can continue using the WordPress app, but if you are interested in other features like backup, notifications, stats, and more, you can use the Jetpack app instead.
As for the other question - the AI features in Jetpack are not meant to write posts for you, but to enhance the process—like improving readability, generating excerpts, and creating images—so you can focus more on your own creativity. It’s all about supporting your work, not replacing it.
