The Lambing Planner app by DAFWA and ASHEEP group of Esperance in Western Australia helps sheep managers map the breeding cycle for sheep and gives key recommendations on management operations that make up the breeding cycle, providing information on:
• Ewe and ram nutrition
• Condition score targets at different stages
• Reproductive management
• Lambing guidelines
It is based on the popular paper based tool and draws on the recommendations of sheep reproduction experts.

It now offers users the ability to register and synchronise their lambing plans across various devices. This integration facilitates seamless access to push notifications for important task milestones, enabling better planning and management. Furthermore, the update includes new sharing capabilities, allowing users to export their lambing plans directly to iCal, share with fellow Lambing Planner users for collaborative efforts, and export plans into a PDF format for convenient access and distribution.
