Hi F, our barcode scan function simply pops up a Google search with the barcode, nothing more. We wish we'd be able to invent a scanning function that just tells you whether your item is authentic or not, but sadly the barcode scan test is not bulletproof! Not showing shoes properly and my v1 that i bought myself from adidas with all oG is ”fake” and when i Scan my other shoes i bought myself it shows diffrent shoes in wrong sizes, plain and wrong app.

We can confirm that, much like we've tried highlighting in our article (we did a bad job since this issue came up for you — apologies from our end), your judgement is needed within the barcode scanning tool. Barcodes are very likely to be mixed up with other pairs, since fake manufacturers replicate these codes. However, if enough confirmation points are there for your actual "size + colourway combination", then the barcode test is passed!
