LifeShapes is a collection of shapes with each shape representing a teaching of Jesus or principle from his life that serve as the foundation of a Discipling language around which a Discipleship culture can be built.

Mike Breen started developing LifeShapes in the early 1980’s.

People become familiar with LifeShapes spending time in a life-on-life relationship with someone that is investing in them as a disciple. After a year in such a discipling relationship (such as a Huddle), people are able to use LifeShapes to recall Jesus' Words, Works, and Ways, and to apply them to their lives and to the lives of people around them.

The LifeShapes App is a reference guide for the LifeShapes Discipleship language. The app allows interactive review of each of the LifeShape structures in graphical form. Additional Scripture, Shape, Story (SSS) information can be viewed for most shapes as well. Some of the LifeShapes include their "Shadow" copy, which helps identify the false copies of Christ's Truths. Many of the LifeShapes include handy variations that we have encountered in our Discipleship practices, or as handed down by our Huddle leaders to us.
