It has potential

As a habit tracker/creator this is not nearly as good as streaks. It has a lot more bells and whistles but it lacks the simplicity and ease that is essential for creating habits. And the widgets are truly lacking in that department as well.
It does offer a lot more than that though and that’s where I think the potential is. The UX design is good for what it does. The fact that it’s a subscription based app makes me less interested however. Make it a one time fee and I might be on board.

Only premium

This app has nothing to offer if you don’t intend spending money on a subscription plan. Everyone deserves to be informed about this before downloading.

Freemium? One week free, rest is paid only

“Balance is a membership service with a one week free trial.” says the first screen of the app.

Would be good if this is specified in the App Store description as well so people don’t waste their time downloading.
I’m sure some people even get stuck in the subscription or forget to cancel after the trial.
The company most likely intended it to be this way to maximize profit but it such a shame that you can’t get any basic functionality without agreeing to a trial and further on a subscription.
