Elegant app that works with Anki

This is by far the best Wiktionary-based dictionary app.

It has beautiful, minimalist design with just the right typeface. This makes it a pure joy to read definitions of words. Looking up new words brings you into a state of mind that is not unlike reading poetry.

You can see the care that the creator has taken in making this app.

What’s even more surprising and considerate is the ability to send a card to Anki. This makes your learning more streamlined and will save you a lot of time if you want to remember the words you’ve just learned. (As a side note: Anki is a great flashcard app that helps you memorize words and facts. Some of the smartest people in the world use Anki on a daily basis. If you are learning languages, or really anything, but haven’t tried it yet, what are you waiting for?)

My favourite app

As a language enthusiast who is trying to learn several languages, I find Wiktionary to be an excellent resource for looking up words. With this app, you can access the contents of Wiktionary (without the need of Internet access) formatted in a very nice way. The design is excellent. Minimalistic and with the most important content available (including e.g. etymologies), presented with well though through fonts and clear compact symbols so that it’s easy to get an overview of e.g. synonyms and antonyms. I use it almost every day and recommend it to everyone. Thank you!

One suggestion for future improvement: It would be nice if the keyboard could be automatically switched to the language you want to look up words for. This would make the use even nicer when switching between languages.
