MovieVoca: Master Vocabulary with Movies & Dramas

MovieVoca is an innovative vocabulary memorization app that leverages movie and drama clips for effective language training.

Utilizing the Leitner memory system, based on the human forgetting curve, we offer a unique memorization experience. Additionally, you'll learn how words and phrasal verbs are used in real-life contexts, with pronunciation and mood, through multiple sentence-long clips from movies, dramas, and YouTube videos.

Each word comes with detailed explanations, differences from similar expressions, and 5 video clips from dramas, movies, and YouTube.

2. Phrasal Verb Learning:
Focusing on phrasal verbs challenging for Korean speakers, we've compiled 572 of the most commonly used ones.
Learn in sequence or at random, ranked by frequency of use in movies and dramas.

3. Word/Phrasal Verb Practice:
Employing the Leitner memory flashcard technique, test and memorize words randomly from your study deck.
Self-check your progress, with a system that ensures repeated practice for assured retention.

4. Word/Phrasal Verb Search:
Our search engine provides meanings and video examples for your desired words or phrasal verbs.
Easily add search results to your study deck for personalized learning.

5. Custom Vocabulary Lists:
Create and store your own vocabulary lists from the search engine or learning collections, based on your interests.
Later, you can randomly learn from the words you've added to your custom lists.
