The National Road Heritage Corridor app is designed to help you plan the perfect vacation, trip or weekend getaway on the Pennsylvania portion of the National Road, America's first highway.
It began as the Mingo and Nemacolin Paths, took soldiers to the frontier of the French and Indian War, and opened up a new America beyond the Allegheny Mountains. From mountaintop panoramas to enchanting small towns, from 18th-century taverns to luxury resorts, the Historic National Road offers the curious traveler an abundance of ways to rediscover America and explore our nation’s heritage from a new perspective.
