App crashes as soon as you try to film

Have owned this app for about 3 years now and haven’t been able to use it on my iPhone pro 13 cause it crashes as soon as I try to film. Want it fixed or my money back.

Hello Alexander, hope you’re very well. Could you please try the new update (version 1.0.18) it includes a bug fix that caused the camera to crash on the iPhone 13 Pro Max. Please email if you’re still

Krångligt.

Vad som skulle vara enkelt och intuitivt visade sig vara riktigt krångligt. Minimalistiska gränssnitt i all ära, men har har man gått för långt. Alldeles för långt.

Hi Fredrik, appreciate your feedback. Sorry to hear you’ve found Nizo hard to use. It would be great to learn where we can improve. I sense you are passionate about design, would love to take the opportunity to share some of our design thinking.

We see the iPhone as a unique opportunity to create a better filmmaking experience that is native to touch with seamless integration of shooting and editing.

Traditional editing tools originated from the analog film workflow as two separate disciplines. Shoot, then edit. The traditional editor hasn’t changed; a small timeline beneath a large playback viewer. This model works well on the desktop, not so much on mobile where the simplest of editing tasks such as trimming and moving a clip are fiddy and tedious on a small screen.

The timeline is the heart of the Nizo experience; immersive, designed both for touch and visibility. Clips are large and easy to move for fast experimentation. Editing is playful. Siloed screens of old disappear to create a feeling of lightness. Zoom in and out of your timeline from the editor to fullscreen player and back, use a swift flick to delete an unwanted clip. The workflow is fluid while never loosing focus on your image.

Creating something new doesn’t come without challenges. By nature, gestures are non-discoverable, hard to denote and have an initial learning curve. But once learnt, are incredibly powerful.
