Nord Beat 3 is a free 6-track CoreMIDI Step Sequencer for iPad and a perfect companion for the Nord Drum 3P and Nord Drum 2 Modeling Percussion Synthesizers.

It can also be used with any external MIDI drum module, synth or sampler (or even other iPads app via Virtual MIDI).

Please observe that Nord Beat does not produce audio on its own. It is a MIDI sequencer that sends MIDI messages to a CoreMIDI destination.

This app has been updated by Apple to display the Apple Watch app icon.

iOS 11 compatibility added and bugfix related to BPM when synchronizing to MIDI Clock.

Enkel att använda

Det enda som krävs är en Camera Kit-kabel och ett Class Compliant MIDI interface. Även om appen är byggd för Nord Drum 2 så borde den funka med de flesta trummoduler/synthar med MIDI. Vid laddning av en Song vill appen skicka ett Program Change-meddelande till ND2 men man väljer själv om man tillåter det.

Jag köpte min Camera Kit-kabel på Webhallen för 249:- och använde ett Elektron TM-1 MIDI interface tillsammans med min ND2. Det funkade helt klockrent. Appen är väl genomtänkt och enkel att använda.
