Numerics - Business Dashboards 4+

No support for Dropbox or Excel is a bummer. I had to go through a web app that synced my dropbox files with my google drive. Even then, this app wouldn't automatically update itself according to the spreadsheet, instead I have to manually update the file path each time my spreadsheet gets updated. Pretty embarrassing, especially when the price tag is 10$.

When connecting Numerics to google analytics, why do you ask permission to view my email, show my files in google drive, show and edit my spreadsheets and view my YouTube account?
I gave the application all of these permissions and added a page view counter to my Apple Watch. The counter didn’t refresh automatically even with hours between the manual refresh.
WARNING everyone this app doesn’t seem to be very legitimate.

I am a software engineer and I know you’re talking nonsense trying to explain to me as if I wouldn’t understand.

Are you kidding me? Why are you lying to us? It’s extremely easy for developers to request additional scopes with incremental authorization. Either you’re just lazy or you’re doing something shady with your users data.

We want to assure you that Numerics does not have access to your personal data. Here is a brief explanation of the working of Numerics:

Numerics integrates with Google Apps like Spreadsheets, Analytics, YouTube, Big Query and Gmail to bring in your key performance indicators. Since the same Google account works with all of the Google Apps, Numerics asks for permissions to all the Google Apps at once. If it asked for permissions for each of the Google Apps separately, duplicate Google accounts would have to be added, creating account clutter and confusion. Rest assured, Numerics only gets the totals and other numbers from the integrated services, that too, only when you add a widget for it on your dashboard.

Further, Numerics does a direct secure device-to-service connection, so all the widgets connect directly to the service to fetch your numbers. We do not have a server in between and do not replicate your data anywhere, except for on your device. This means, we do not have access to your usernames and passwords. All your credentials are stored securely in your device keychain. Data security and ownership is fundamentally important to us at Cynapse. Hence we've designed Numerics to directly connect to a service to aggregate, process and present dashboards on your device in real time, with no servers in the middle. This makes Numerics secure by design and more compliant with strict security policies.

Numerics is designed to automatically update your dashboards as frequently as possible. Since Numerics has no servers that store your data, the updating frequency of the app is closely related to the app’s lifecycle and various system conditions.
